Such a cool concept, congrats!

FUN game. one thing to note if you are using the scroll wheel to determine speed, you can adjust the number of lines a mouse scrolls with the wheel in the computer settings. I am not sure how to prevent that for the game, but it means you can just set the scroll lines to highest and it trivializes a lot of the game. I suggest not doing this if you want to enjoy the game. Also, it crashed my game when I set the number of lines to max, which is totally my fault and not the game.

this is probably preventable, a scroll event exposes the delta to scroll, as long as its not incrementing this virtually by spamming more events, this can probably be scaled to be somewhat flat

but I actaully get a lot of fun from 'cheesing'/'breaking' a game mechanic, so i would probably leave it in for the people who do, the crash is more of a concern tho 😅

TYsm for playing!

Dopamine Dive Walkthrough

Thank you so much for going out of your way to make a video about my game! this is definately a first for me!

and thanks for playing!

My strategy:

1. Hover mouse Pointer over speed powerup option

2. Turn mouse upside-down

3. Race the mouse around like it's a toy car, crashing into the left click when necessary

this is both funny and interesting, ive never tought of using a mouse like that - very creative!

tysm for playing!

This game is going to drive me as crazy and addictive as Cookie Clicker!

I stopped after descending to a depth of 16,000 metres. Why did I bother? What was the point? Let's just say I gave my fingers and my mouse wheel a workout !

The verdict: the full speed strategy really is the best :D

Good job on this game

Tysm for playing!

to be honest, i wasnt expecting someone to reach so far, felt like i spent too long on mechanics instead of progression

also - if my math is correct thats 4 ascensions? good job!
